About me

Hi there! My name is Abhishek and I'm a software engineer currently living in Poland. I was originally born in India and I've always been passionate about technology and building things ever since I was a little kid. When I was 16, I started teaching myself how to code, and I fell in love with the endless possibilities of what I could create.

I started my professional career as a freelancer, working on projects for small businesses like agencies, shops, and restaurants. I also worked on an application for managing dormitories and university events. This experience helped me land my first full-time job at a small software house called UIG Studio.

At UIG, I had the opportunity to work in a startup-like atmosphere, where I gained exposure to a wide range of tools and technologies. I also had the chance to work with stakeholders, gather requirements, and discuss technical solutions with clients.

Since then, I've worked for major corporations like William Hill and DAZN, where I've contributed to projects used by millions of people. I've been focusing on expanding my skills in backend and cloud development, and I'm always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn.

In addition to my passion for web development, I'm also interested in blockchain and machine learning. I enjoy working on complex, high-traffic systems and applications, and I'm always looking to push the boundaries of what's possible.

In my free time, I love travelling and have visited 13 countries so far. I also enjoy playing cricket and going to the gym. I have a pet dog named Teddy, who is my constant companion.
